Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress best known for her parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. She first began her career acting during the 80s. The actress became popular for the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir as part of Dil. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family and started dancing at a young age. When she was young when she began to act, she struggled as many films she made were not successful. In the end, she was one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the business. Recenty, she had an important performance on the film Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women in India. Dixit received the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. She is also acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
